Meal Plan Monday: March 11-17, 2013

Sorta fell off the organizing wagon for awhile...but I am back on it again!! I had to use up the freezer pantry and it wasn't pretty...

Thankfully there was as SUPER MEAT sale one of my local markets and I bought:
  • 30Lbs gr beef, 
  • 50 Lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, 
  • 4 whole Roasting Chickens, 
  • 40 Lbs Beef Roasts, 
  • 15 Lbs Pork roasts, 
  • 10 Lbs of Country Pork Ribs.


We aren't total carnivores, but we do love our Meats!! I do attempt to include one meatless meal and one fish meal each week in our menu, depending on budget and time constraints. 

After going nearly 60 days with no red met, I must have plenty of red meat! I have chronic anemia and when I eat red meat I just feel better. I know there are plenty veggies full of iron, dark green leafy veggies-which I do LOVE & include in my diet-don't me wrong...

Only the red meat just is a whole other level for me...
